Our program offers an annual June institute where individuals involved in language education or are interested in language topics/issues gather to take credit-bearing courses to help them in their language work efforts. Our program serves as a resource to tribal communities and other entities. It has contributed significantly to Indigenous communities in all areas of language research and teaching throughout its 28 years.
As an individual, I advocate for language maintenance and revitalization efforts especially within my own tribe. I teach our language through songs, stories and serving as a language and culture teacher.
