Annual ILI Symposium

Every October, since 2010, ILI holds the Indigenous Language Institute Symposium (ILIS) in New Mexico that invites presenters to address topics of interest to language practitioners. The topics selected are concerns, challenges, and interests of community language workers as issues that need discussion and exploration to help advance language work. ILI invites presenters to share personal and professional experiences, academic research, and success stories that address the topics. The goal of each symposium is to provide participants with different ideas and practical solutions to the challenges addressed.
